Common Foot Problems

Plantar Warts

Plantar warts are benign growths that develop on the bottom of your feet as a result of a virus called the human papilloma virus (HPV).

It is a common condition in children and adolescence although it can occur at any age.

Plantar warts are most commonly caught by walking barefoot around public swimming pools and change rooms.

Although they are self limiting, they can cause a great deal of embarrassment and pain.

If left untreated there is a risk of the virus spreading to other members of your family or other parts of your foot, to make the condition more difficult to treat.

Luckily Stephanie Cooper is highly qualified to treat plantar warts to ensure that you become wart free. We offer treatments which provide minimal discomfort so you can remain active throughout the course of the treatment. Call to make an appointment with us today!
